This is a tutorial on how to make the DragonBone sword from Skyrim. Fun and easy project that looks great. And I give you the template which makes it very easy for you. Download the template, print it up and use it to make your sword.

Something I really love about this sword is that it is made as it it really were a sword made out of a dragon bone. The iron part that extends down the middle of the blade is as an iron strap bolted to the bone to hold it in place. Kind of neat.

Materials Needed:

• 2 sheets of foamboard or an equivalent amount of cardboard
• The template is right here
• Paints: Black, white, orange, brown, or tea!
• Some kind of glue or hot glue

Print up the template and cut out the pieces.

Layout pieces A,B,C and D like this and tape them together. This makes up the main sword template. And do the same thing for pieces 1,2,3 and 4.

Now take all those template pieces and trace them onto your foamboard or cardboard. The template packet tells you how many of each to make. For example, of the ABCD piece you make one. Of the 1234 piece you make two.

In total you end up with seven pieces. The picture above shows the one big sword piece and this picture shows the remaining six pieces.

Go ahead and cut out those pieces.
