Make the Infinity Blade

The infinity blade is a fun and easy diy project. It comes out great and you need very few supplies including three sheets of foamboard, some paint and some glue. That's about it.

I don't show you how to make it glow. But if you want to do that you should check out my tutorial on how to make the Glowing rune sword from the Witcher.

The TEMPLATE for this project is here.

Will has a youtube channel with over 700 videos on projects you can make. Check it out right here

Materials and tools used for this project:

Cut out the template pieces

Print up the template and cut out the parts. There are eight parts.

Tape together the pieces of the template like this. You end up with two sword profiles. One is made up of A,B,C and D. And the other is made up of 1,2,3 and 4.

Lay out the template

Cut out the holes

Cut out the holes in each template too. Each one has five holes.

Lay template on foam board

Take the template labeled 1,2,3,4 and lay it diagonally on a sheet of foam board. The template is just the right size to fit.

Trace the template

Trace around the template onto the foamboard. And trace the five holes too.

Cut out the holes

And cut that shape out, also cut out the holes.

The three pieces

Repeat this same process with the A,B,C,D template. Except with this one do it twice so you end up with two of them.

So now you have three pieces. One of the 1,2,3,4 and two of the A,B,C,C.

Glue pieces together

Glue those three pieces together, one right on top of the other with the 1,2,3,4 right in the middle.

Clean everything up with a knife and some sandpaper.
