In this part of the tutorial we paint the mace and finish it off. Part 1 of this tutorial is here

The painting scheme for this project is pretty simple. You just need Silver, black and brown. But of course you can paint your mace any colors you want.
Before painting the mace you should test your paint on a small piece of foam board. This is because some paints will actually melt the foam between the paper layers. If your paint does melt the foam you can fix this by sealing all the edges of your mace. The picture here shows me painting all the edges with a thick layer of Mod Podge. You can also paint white glue on all the edges. This includes the edges of the big pieces too. Coat them all really well. Then you can go ahead and paint it.
First paint the whole mace silver. Although you don't have the paint the handle piece silver. We will be painting that brown.
Then I did a spattering of black. Just as a light and erratic coat.
To finish the painting we paint the handle brown and add some silver rivets.
The only thing remaining is to cut out the skull patterns and glue them to the mace. (I give you these in the template).
And that's it! Your mace is complete.
