The James Episcopal Church in Bedford Pennsylvania

It's just a little Church in a small town in Pennsylvania. But it is a good example of Gothic Revival architecture, particularly in Early America. Many similar churches were built in the 19th century. This one was built in 1866.

It is also of note because Bedford, PA is also the location of Frank Lloyd Wright's famous Falling Water house.

Gothic revival does vary a bit but some of the architectural features of it are the pointed arches and the buttresses in the corners and the sides.

This church is nestled in a nice little suburban area of town. Not quite what I expected! Just nicely manicured streets with lots of trees. Typically a church is in a more densely populated area. I didn't think to look for it but I am willing tobet that parking is an issue come sunday services!

This next picture shows the buttresses along one side.
