This is a fun little project that is easy to make. To make the complete set of two kukri and the shuriken throwing star you just need one sheet of foam board, some glue, paint and a knife to cut the foam board. That's it. I even give you the template.

About the Kukri. It is a pair of weapons that Milla Jovovich uses in the Resident Evil series and it is great for killing zombies! But it is also an actual weapon and utility tool that originates in Nepal. It has been used there for hundreds of years and is commonly carried by civilians, police and military personnel.

Tools and Materials

• 1 Sheet of foam board (Elmer's Foam Board)
• Paint: Black, silver, gold
• Adhesive like white glue or a glue gun
• The template

Note about making a sword or weapon out of cardboard or foam board. I typically draw it out a few times on regular paper. Then I draw it out full size on paper. This helps to get the shapes and scale of it just right. So, if you want to make your own sword or weapon this is a great process to follow.

Let's Get Started

Print up the template if you haven't already and cut out the pieces. This is an easy project. There are only four pieces to the template. And there is also the shuriken (throwing star)

Layout out pieces one two and three like this and tape them together. This forms the whole length of the kukri. No need to do anything with piece 4 yet.

Lay that template on your sheet of foamboard and trace it two times per kukri that you want to make. If you want to make the pair of kukri like Alice has then trace four of these.
