You don't need much for supplies to make this sword. It only takes one sheet of foam board and you can use cardboard if you don't have foam board.

And of course, I give you the template with all the parts which makes it very easy for you.

Quirky thing about the Attack on Titan sword is that it always reminds me of those utility knives you can buy. The ones that break apart. When it gets dull you just snap off the end and you have a new sharp end. Can they do this with the Titan sword? After you kill a Titan do you break off the end so you have a sharp point again?

Materials Needed for this project:

• 1 sheet of foam board (20x30 inches and 5mm thick). That's the standard size. You can buy it on amazon here
• Hobby knife for cutting (I use an x-acto)
• Some Kind of adhesive like white glue or a hot glue gun
• Paints: Gray, light gray and black
• 1 little length of black wire as an ornament, approximately8 inches.

Print up the template and cut out pieces 1, 2, and 3. Lay them out like the sword shape then tape them together.

And don't forget to cut out the trigger guard holes too.

Place the template on your sheet of foamboard or cardboard and trace it. Trace the finger holes too.

Now go ahead and cut it out.

Will's Tip on Cutting Foam board: Don't try to cut all the way through it in one swipe. Use a really sharp blade and make three passes. the first pass just cuts the top layer of paper. Second pass cuts the foam and the third pass cuts through the bottom layer of foam.
