Easy Cast is an epoxy resin and a very easy to use product. It is composed of two liquids that you mix together in equal parts. Then you let it cure. It cures to a hardened form like glass or crystal. It has a lot of uses. Here I show you what it is and how you use it.

I have this project where I made the Zar'roc sword from Eragon. And in the pommel of the sword is a big egg shaped jewel. But, not easy to find a big blue egg shaped jewel so I cast one using easy cast.
Here is the crystal egg I made using easy cast.
The process is very simple. You stir together equal parts of the Easy Cast. And in the case of the jewel egg I added a few drops of food coloring.
Then I poured that easy cast into a mold. In the case of this project the mold is an emptied out egg.
Once the easy cast is set and hardened I peeled away the egg shell. And that's it! They call it "Easy Cast" because it really is very easy. You mix two liquids together and pour it into a mold. It hardens, remove it from the mold.
It comes in a wide variety of different volumes so you can buy the amount you need.
