Weapons and armor made by web visitors

Have you made one of my projects? If yes then send me a picture! I would love to post it right here on this page!!!

Just send a picture of the project though. I like to keep it simple, no faces, people or children! Sorry!

And... I get a whole lot of email so nothing to worry about if you don't hear back from me for a couple of days. It takes me a bit of time to catch up. But I love these pics and will get back to you for sure!

Here is some chainmail made by Guðmundur. He tells us a little bit about how he made this:

Thank you for a great tutorial  here is my chain mail,  it weighs 6 Kg and  took one and a half month to make,  the middle part on the shirt is from an old wire had been laying outside for  years  , then i bought a new one and  finished  the sleeves and a trim at the bottom, i used a 2mm steel wire the rings are 10mm inside diameter  at first i did not think i had the patience make a  whole  shirt but now i might start on a coif or even dragon scale, best regards from Iceland

Sword ScabbardsHere are three scabbards that Kim made following our tutorial. They came out spectacular and she added some really nice details she tells us about here: I used 2 kitchen roll tubes, one just inside the other, ensuring the join faced downwards so when the sword was put in, it didn't catch. I covered them in black material due to a lack of foam.  For the loops and belt loops I used part of an old roller blind that had been surplus to requirements for a window the other week.  I used the gaffa tape (silver tape) idea as decoration and for the hole covers.  I had a bag of key ring rings (instead of wire) left over from another project.  Et voila! :)
