In this part of the tutorial we finish the sword by painting it. Part 1 of this tutorial is here

Painting the swordIt looks to me like the color of the sword is Teal. You probably don't have that color and that's ok. We will mix something up to look similar. (Note that turquoise is very similar to what we are looking for so if you have that you can go with it) Sargent Art Supreme 22-5263 Premium Tempera Paint, 16-Ounce, Teal
The four colors I used are Green, Silver, Blue and White. So tinker with these four colors. Start with a lot of green, add about half as much in silver, Then just a little bit of blue and finally lighten that whole mix with some white. Continue adding white as you want to lighten it. You will have to experiment a bit with this.
Paint the various handle and guard pieces teal like you see here.
Paint the remaining parts silver including the blade, the ornament on the guard, the cross and the pommel.
The only thing remaining is the ornamental jewel on the guard. I created a jewel with a big dab of hot glue then painted it blue.
To finish it you can seal it with some kind of a sealant. Use a high gloss or high shine if you have it. That will make it look more metallic.
And that's it. Congratulations! You have made the Lambent Light.
Make the Skyrim DragonBone Sword Wonderful sword and built as if a dragon's bone is Iron banded to the handle. I like it! And of course I give you the template. Make the DragonBone Sword
Make a Mini Crossbow This is a powerful little crossbow that fires straws! Easy to make and whole lot of fun. Make a mini crossbow
