Make the Predator Wrist Blades - Part 2

In this part of the tutorial we start the actual building of the wrist blades. We build the blade assembly and the box assembly. This is a piece of cake! You will get through this quick and easy.

Part 1 (the beginning) of this tutorial is here

Note the slots

After cutting out all the parts note that on parts 1, 2, and 7 there are small slots for either the trigger or the rubber band. Cut those slots out too.

Let's build the blade section.

The blade parts

To build the blade section you need parts 15, 16, 5, 6, and 7.

Glue parts

Glue the two blade pieces to part 5 like this.

Note

Now glue part 6 onto 5 like this. It is centered both from left to right and from top to bottom. The yellow dots show you that with it being centered there is a space in each of those places. These spaces are important for the trigger and for the the rubber band.

Add part 6

Now glue in part 6 just like this.

Now let's Build the Box

The box parts

To build the box we need parts 1, 3, 4, 8,9,10, and 11.

More parts

Glue parts 8 and 9 to part 1 like this. They are left and right of the rubber band slot in part 1. The template has dashed lines showing you exactly where to glue them.

Add sides

Now glue parts 3 and 4 directly down onto part 1. Don't glue these parts to the sides of 1. Glue them directly down to the surface of 1.

Add parts

Now glue parts 10 and 11 directly down onto those sides.

NextOkay! All the box is done. Let's build the cover with the trigger mechanism. This is a whole lot of fun. You are going to learn a neat little triggering mechanism.

Bandai Tamashii Nations S.H. MonsterArts Predator Wolf Action Figure

The second figure in the Alien vs. Predator series has been revealed! The Predator Wolf from the 2007 sequel film, "Alien vs. Predator: Requiem" joins the S.H.MonsterArts line in absolutely stunning detail. A portion of the armor has been recreated in diecast metal, while the weaponry is molded in finely detailed ABS plastic. PVC has been used to capture the correct look of the body, while the famed "dreadlocks" utilize soft PVC so as not to interfere with the posing. Interchangeable head parts allow for portrayal of predator with masked removed, revealing its grotesque organic face beneath. Interchangeable mandibles allow it to either be displayed in normal or howling modes. As an added gimmick, the classic Predator weapon, the wrist blade, can be displayed either exposed or retracted. This is the ultimate action figure portrayal of the ultimate Predator warrior. Pose him alongside the S.H.MonsterArts Alien Warrior to get the maximum AVP experience.
