Alisha starts with a wire armature to make the tree shape. And then she fleshes out the tree with hot glue.

She tells us her hot glue gun technique:

"I did indeed use the hot glue gun to cover my tree. There is a silicon tip over a metal tip on my glue gun, I removed that so that the hot metal Will soften the glue as I drag it between the wires. It takes time and
Patience. I used the same method to make my pond and waterfall."
