Here's another great Assassin's Creed based project. In this tutorial we make an Assassin's Creed terrarium! Here we depict the main character Connor hiding in the woods observing a group of redcoats. This is a fun and simple project that anyone can do.

First, start by picking out the container which you are going to use for your terrarium. Keep in mind you will need a properly sized container in order to work with.

Next, add all the layers of the terrarium together. For this tutorial we used our own terrarium kit that includes soil, sphagnum moss, pebbles and charcoal. This kit can be found here . Start by adding some pebbles to the bottom of your terrarium. You're going to want this layer to be about an inch thick.

Now, pour in the charcoal. You will only need a thin layer, just enough to cover the surface of the pebbles.

After this, add some sphagnum moss. This is here in order to keep the soil separate from all the other layers, preventing it from becoming a mess.

Lastly, add the soil.

In this project we are going to dig out a small path or gulley for which the soldiers will be walking on.

For this terrarium we chose a mixture of different plants and mosses. For the plants dig out a hole big enough for the roots. Then, take the plant out of the pot and shake away some of the soil before planting it and filling it in with soil. For mosses simply place it on the top of the where you want it and press it into the soil. The moss will eventually root over time. Remember to plant everything on the sides of the path you dug out.

Now, it's time to make you miniatures. For, this terrarium we ordered miniatures in a 1/32 scale. We didn't receive enough British soldiers so we painted some of the others red. For the assassin we used a Native American miniature that is also in the same scale. As pictured we cut a small piece of cloth and hot glued it in order to create his robes. Later, on after creating this tutorial we opted to paint the top half and only use the cloth for the bottom half as pictured in the final product.

Place your assassin anywhere you want off in the "woods" and place your soldiers on the path and you're done! Remember to spray down the terrarium twice a day to keep it watered. With proper care you will have a wonderful terrarium that will last a lifetime!
