Here is a neat diorama that Brian made for his son. This is a great idea and something like this adds a whole new dimension to a child's collection of miniatures. This is a Dragonball Z themed diorama.

Here is a look at the completed diorama, with the dragonball z figures on it. It's Ready for Play!:

You start out making the diorama by using a piece of wood for the base and you put a plaster shell on it. You can get the terrain features in a variety of different ways including putting a bowl down, or a box, or pieces of foam. You can also just use cardboard and newspaper.

Then you dip paper towels in plaster and put them over the shell.

This picture shows the completed plaster base.

Next you paint the base colors.

Next add some textures and some details. There is brown texture added to this and the great foam Blue Dragonballls!

There we go! A whole new world to explore!!
