Durirng my week in New Orleans I stayed in a beautiful Art Deco hotel now called The Wyndham Garden on Baronne Street.

I never was much for Art Deco Architecture but this place changed my mind. It has a wonderful feel and look. I like it.

Anyway, in the lobby of the Wyndham Garden Hotel they had a nice city diorama of the hotel and immediate area. Here are some pictures.

And this brings up the subject of dioramas and architecture. Making models of buildings, parks, cities and architectural subjects has always been a big thing. A diorama is a great way to make these large structures and areas easier to envision and understand.

The big building is the Wyndham Garden Hotel.
