Roman Bath House Diorama

Here is a wonderful little diorama made by Lawrence!

He tells us how he made this:

The bath itself - benches around the inside - is a plastic tray painted green. Of course, the aristocravy had their own entrance - on the right with all the statues. All the walls are foamboard, painted and/or pasted on artwork. The massage tables are Leggos and glue-moistened tissue paper. The columns are wedding cake plastic columns from Hobby Lobby. The little guy on the far right column is a 1/48th figure draped with moistened tissue. Entrance for the lower class is the brown columned arch on the lower left.

The diorama is app. 18 Inches by 16 inches and scaled in 1/35th.

The massage tables are about 2" long and 1/2" high, the columns are 8", the pool 6" by 8" app.  The statues range from 3" to 6".
