WW I Dioramas

Here are the WWI Dioramas that I have here on my website.

Ole Bill Bus

This is a nice little diorama that uses a unique technique. Martin used vintage photographs as a background and then painted the diorama and model in monochrome so it would blend it. See more here: Ole Bill Diorama

WW1 Diorama I

WW1 Diorama

All I can say about this diorama is WOW! It isn't complete but it is coming along amazing. You have got to see the realistic looking terrain and trenches in this diorama. This diorama is being made by a web visitor (Christophe I.) Amazing WW1 Diorama

Anzac Infantry

The Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) was an army corps of British Empire forces that was original formed in Australian and New Zealand in the First World War. During the Second World War the ANZAC was again used in the battle for Greece. Then the units participated in the defense of Crete against the German invasion. Frank got a Revell kit for the Anzac infantry and made a diorama with it. You can check it out here: The Anzac Infantry Diorama

WWI German Soldier Diorama

This is a single figure diorama depicting a German soldier. One of the great things about a diorama like this is all the fun detail painting you can do with it. Check it out here: WWI German Soldier Diorama

WWI Tadpole Tank Diorama

A WWI Tadpole Tank Diorama

The Tadpole was a modified Mark IV tank that had an extra long tail mounted to it to increase its trench crossing abilities. This proved unstable, however, and also made it more difficult to turn the tank, so it was abandoned. Very few prototypes were made and none survive today. This is a wonderful diorama submitted by a web visitor (Bruce) and he gives a lot of great tips and techniques on how to make a diorama like this: The Tadpole Tank Diorama
